PILLOWTALK- ZAYN
After it was announced on the 25th March that Zayn Malik would be leaving One Direction, fans went into meltdown. Now almost a year later and Zayn has gone solo; releasing his debut single 'PILLOWTALK'.
After 5 years of One Direction, Zayn decided to leave the tour due to 'stress' and later left the band because he wanted to 'be a normal 22-year old'. However after multiple interviews we now get the impression that Zayn was actually just unhappy in the band and that he never really had the chance to decide if it was for him. Now he is due to release an album with 'PILLOWTALK' being his debut single.
The song immediately reached number 1 in 60 countries after its release today. The song was also trending on Twitter worldwide- no doubt helped by the fact that supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid features in the video. The video directed by filmmaker Bouha Kazmi has many racy shots of the couple and earlier today they exchanged flirtatious tweets about it on twitter. The song seems to be the first of many and Zayn has announced the album 'Mind of Mine' will be released on the 25th March; exactly a year after leaving One Direction.
It seems the song has had many mixed reviews of fans but is bringing in a whole new audience in which Zayn is trying to achieve. However, when the album is released I'm sure it will bring us plenty of surprises from the Bradford lad!

5 YEARS OF ONE DIRECTION
Hello and welcome back to Friday's posts on the celeb culture world. I am very sorry for my slacking and there is no excuse now exams are over so I will be back! I promise.
I thought that the best thing to blog about would be about One Direction's 5th year anniversary of them being put together as a group on X Factor. We all know a love a it of 1D. From breaking records, winning awards, creating a movie, touring and releasing 'Four' albums it has all been very busy and a non stop roller coaster.
Your Twitter timeline may have blown up yesterday (23rd July) at 8:22pm as that is the exact time they were put together. ahah is that sad? yes... But honestly they had had the best career in 5 years and I have loved every second. I wanted to share some of my favourite experiences and just kind of go a little bit into fan mode so please just allow it okay. It seems the most talked about thing about them at the moment is still Zayn leaving which is understandable but lets talk about 2011. An amazing year for the boys! I saw them for the very first time at the X Factor tour and the same year their very first single 'What Makes You Beautiful' was released. It is still such a fabulous tune ahah and after that their debut album Up All Night was released. An album which was just the beginning...
Now I feel very lucky to say I have had tickets to go to every one of their tours and I have seen the boys in total 6 times! By far my favourite memory and probably one of the best days of my life was winning tickets through The Sun to see them live in Manchester (about 4 hours away from where I live) and having my Twitter question read out by the boys. omg I died.

(skip to 2.09 for my question ahah @charlytommo )
So enough rambling, what have the boys got lined up?
A fifth album is due and their On The Road Again tour is ongoing. It is rumoured they will take a break after this album and with rumours of a baby Tomlinson it may be for the best. However as always in this industry these are all just allegations and we will have to wait for confirmation. But for now here is to 5 years of One Direction!

Caitlyn Jenner
Hello all, I am currently on holiday in Crete but I have an interesting post this week on recent celeb news!
4 days ago the world was introduced to Caitlyn Jenner. A women the world has eagerly anticipated to meet since Bruce Jenner announced on an interview with Diane Sawyer that he has suffered with gender identity issues all his life. Although Bruce has not undergone a full gender confirmation surgery he has had cosmetic surgery as part of the transition.
Recently Jenner debuted his new name as Caitlyn and showed her appearance in her first photo shoot for Vanity Fair. It is certain that she has made an impact with the name trending top worldwide on Twitter and encouraging people with the same issue that it is okay to be different. She is a huge inspiration to everyone and the process of his transition will be part of a documentary that will premiere in July.
Other exciting news for the Kardashian family came this week as Kim and Kanye announced that Kim was pregnant again and they would be expecting to welcome their second child in December! Who knows what the name will be? Possibly South?

The Happy Hippie Foundation
Hello everyone! It is me Charlotte and now I have finished exams... I am back!
For this weeks post I wanted to post about The Happy Hippie Foundation. For those of you who are unaware of what this is; it is a non profit organisation founded by Miley Cyrus. The organisation aims 'to rally young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations'. I really think it is a fabulous foundation which deserves a lot of recognition and Miley is certainly trying to get people involved.

She has recently posted a number of amazing backyard sessions featuring some well known artists such as Ariana Grande in order to spread the message and help these people. This isn't the first thing Miley has done to help the community and I think it's nice for people to see that she has this loving side in her despite the controversial and craziness that comes with her. The backyard sessions show just how talented she really is and I think it has proven to many people how good how vocal range is. She has even involved rock legend Joan Jett who is most well known from the song 'I Love Rock n Roll' with a very catchy song called 'Different'.
It is a great organisation and it is nice to see someone with such a large following and a very public life doing such an amazing thing!
If you would like to read any more about it then click here to head on over to the website and check out how you can get involved.

EXCELLENT ENDLESS TOURS
Pop- Rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer are also touring as off this week. Their 'Rock Out With Your Socks' tour is their very first proper headline tour and it all started in Lisbon, Portugal. The Aussie boys also treated the audience to a brand new song called 'Permanent Vacation'. The setlist for this tour is also amazing and thankfully I actually have tickets for it! I AM SO EXCITED.
I also was lucky enough to watch 'The Vamps' perform at the o2 on Friday (which is why I was unable to post) and they were brilliant as usual. AND I actually had floor tickets for the first time ever; it was at the back but it still counts and it was fab. I was then back at the o2 2 days later on the Sunday to watch Olly Murs perform. (It's lucky I only live about an hour away from London haha.) He was so entertaining and Ella Eyre was a support act which was spectacular. Overall I had an amazing weekend last week and I can't wait to see 5sos perform in June!

#KylieJennerChallenge ???
The Kardashian/ Jenner family are just always in the spotlight and this week I wanted to talk about a certain craze which the gorgeous Kylie Jenner has inspired. It's probably not the most ideal and safe trend but it has been taking over...
Kylie Jenner's beautiful (fake) lips have created quite the trend this week as thousands of people have taken part in the new trend which has been titled the #KylieJennerChallenge. It is sweeping across all social media sites rapidly as people of all types have been trying to get a fuller lip look. It involves sucking on a lid or glass of some description for a few seconds. However it has caused huge bruising on some people and has turned out to be quite unsuccessful and potentially dangerous.

Kylie has reacted to the trend on Twitter stating: 'I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look' and added 'I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF & not be afraid to experiment w your look.'
I haven't done this challenge myself but I don't recommend anyone does haha.

COACHELLA 2015: CELEBRITY CULTURE
Coachella is a music and arts festival that takes place annually in the Colorado Desert in California. It consists of loud music of a whole array of genres, extreme partying and countless celebs!
Weekend 1 has just passed and took place on April 10-12. The line-up consisted of the legends AC/DC, Drake and Jack White who were all headliners and rocked the stage. However other performances were made by Florence and the Machine, The Weeknd, Alesso and alt-J. It is safe to say I am so very jealous of everyone that went because the atmosphere looked amazing and the line up was faultless! It also seems to be the centre of attention for all celebrities as people like Justin Bieber, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Brooklyn Beckham, Fergie and an endless amount of others turned up as guests. Of course there was controversy again with Bieber as he was kicked out of one of the parties and when Madonna kissed Drake...
But...the fun, music and partying doesn't stop there as weekend 2 starts today April 17-19. AC/DC, Drake and Jack White are all back to headline and entertain the crowd as other acts include David Guetta, Gorgon City and Haim as well as performers from weekend 1. What an amazing line-up. I can't wait to see all the pictures and videos from this weekend's crazy Coachella concert!
It is defiantly on my bucket list to go to this amazing event sometime in the future!

SEEING MCBUSTED LIVE IN LONDON!
On Easter Sunday (5th April), I was lucky enough to have tickets to watch Mcbusted at the o2 Arena. So for this weeks post I thought I would tell you all about it like I said I would in my other Mcbusted blog post which you can check out here.
Now the o2 is defiantly one of my favourite music venues ever and its fairly close to where I live which makes it even better! I went up with my family and best friend's family and we managed to get 5 seats in block 104 and then 2 at the very top in block 419. (That is where we sent the dads to sit lol). I have sat at the top before for a few concerts and the view is absolutely fine but I just feel like you can't have as much fun up there. On the other hand level 1 is where I recommend most. They are all such great seats and although I am desperate to have floor seats one day, I am more than happy to sit at level 1 whilst I wait for that to happen.
There were 2 support acts before Mcbusted but we still had to wait once they had stopped performing as Harry Judd (the drummer) injured his hand and when Matt Willis put this picture up on Instagram with the caption 'Not to worry anybody but this is happening right now!!!'... everyone panicked a bit.
Despite this Harry was able to perform and the put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. I've seen Mcbusted 3 times and can't decide which show was my favourite as they never fail to disappoint. The entire set list was spectacular and I particularly enjoyed dancing to Star Girl and Year 3000 until I smacked my knee on the chair in front and thought I was going fall over the seat. I could not fault any of the performance and there was even a kiss cam in which Emma Willis (Matt's wife) snogged Stephen Mulhern. It was all very entertaining and as well as this throughout the night, I thoroughly enjoyed staring at my crush since the age of 5... Mr Danny Jones. haha.
(Tom (Fletcher) makes Youtube videos and luckily filmed on the day of this show. It also explains what happened to Harry's hand and you can get some backstage footage so you should defo check it out!)

SHEERAN'S SUPERB SESAME STREET SONG!
After a year and a half of waiting for Ed Sheeran's Sesame Street song, it is finally here for us all to enjoy!
Ed first made the announcement on his Instagram account that he would be teaming up with some of The Muppets including Elmo and other of the furry friends and ever since I have been eager to listen to the song. I definitely haven't been disapointed! The song 'Two Different Worlds may be aimed at toddlers but it's still just as catchy and great to listen to. It was filmed all the way back in October 2013 but there is no word as to when the episode will air. The pop song was made as an educational message which teaches children about the different rules for talking at home and at school.

Ed also announced recently that he will be hosting Canada's MMVAs (Much Music Video Awards) on the 21st June! He made the announcement in a video where he was holding a beaver. Yep you heard... a beaver. It was even named Justin Beaver. hahahaha oh puns. It's going to be so exciting!

CELEBRITY CHAOS
Okay so this week has been completely chaos in the celebrity world. One event sticks out in particular and I'm sure all my friends are wondering why I'm not doing the whole post on that but to be honest it's still a very sensitive topic. haha. Nevertheless I will still write a bit about it so read to the end if you wan't to know why I am heartbroken. lol.
So to start with; James Bay released his amazing debut album on Monday 23rd March. It is entitled Chaos And The Calm and it is already on its way to becoming number 1 in the charts. I have listened to the album so many times already and he really is so talented. At first the songs may sound fairly similar but once you have listened to them all more than once you can start to appreciate them more. I have to say my favourites are Move Together and Let It Go at the moment. It's defiantly worth a listen so go buy it off itunes!
This week we also got confirmation from the one and only Ed Sheeran about the name of his record label which is called...'Gingerbread'. I think that is amazing! Ed has made a deal with Warner music and can now start signing people. In fact he has already signed his first person who is called Jamie Lawson so don't go forgetting that name!
As well as this Taylor Swift has gone and bought some internet domain names which could potentially be an embarrassment for her otherwise. Tay Tay now obtains the rights to 'TaylorSwift.porn' and 'TaylorSwift.adult' which is quite odd. However Taylor is doing her job to stop the haters from hating because they would be joining the other new adult domain names that are going to be released to the internet in June if she had not taken control of them...
I am fascinated with Kendall Jenner and she has been getting up close and personal to Justin Bieber recently in a new shoot for Vogue. There have been rumours of sparks between the pair and with Kendall's similar features to Selena, who knows?! Kendall was also announced as the new face of Calvin Klein. She is the model of the latest-limited edition campaign which is the #mycalvins denim series.
And last of all. I don't feel prepared to be writing about this so expect waffle and slight cringe. I am literally so shocked about Zayn leaving One Direction and very upset. I know so many people can't emphasize with 50% of teenage girls at the moment but just don't judge ok. One Direction have made me happy for nearly 5 years and it's so sad to see Zayn leave but I honestly respect his decision so much and their health means more to me than anything else. They all truly deserve a break for once but I also think Louis, Liam, Niall and Harry deserve credit for carrying on when they are probably just as upset as everyone else. I just hope everyone is happy at the end of the day and I won't stop supporting them. {also just thanks to my friends for being supportive and not laughing at me and actually being there for me haha. You guys are fab and deserve a clap for putting up with me.}

Roast of Justin Bieber!
This week Justin Bieber got the roasting he deserved held at the Sony Pictures studio in Culver City, California. It was all part of the Comedy Central show hosted by 'roast master' Kevin Hart and included celebrities such as Snoop Dog, Ludacris to name a few who were all part of the roasting of Bieber.
The night obviously attracted a crowd of A-listers who were all dressed to impress at the event. Justin agreed to get the grilling after the last few years of his bad and reckless behaviour but now insists he regrets what he's done and he 'wasn't trying to be a jerk'. Once all the jokes were made he made an apology saying: 'I turned a lot of people off over the past few years' and 'I'm looking forward to being someone who you guys can all look at and be proud off'. It seems that Justin has changed into a whole new person and it is good to see him maturing and actually taking some responsibility for his actions.
He has been going on the Ellen show every week since his transformation and talked to her about the roasting.
The episode will be aired on Monday 30th March and I am very excited to watch!

MCBUSTED'S 'MOST EXCELLENT ADVENTURE TOUR': CELEBRITY CULTURE
The nations favourite six piece band has just started their second tour as of yesterday and it looks absolutely amazing! That's right the wonderful Mcbusted are back in the UK and kicked off their 'Most Excellent Adventure Tour' at Glasgow's SSE Hydro Arena yesterday evening. The lads have recently been away for a few weeks touring with the One Direction boys and supporting their On The Road Again tour in Australia.
Danny, Tom, Harry, Dougie, Matt and James rocked the stage with a mixture of their classic tunes and songs from their new album. Tom appears to have followed in bandmate Matt Willis' footsteps with the vibrant hair colour as he has recently dyed his hair an electric blue which I'm sure got a lot of attention yesterday.
I am particularly excited because I happen to be lucky enough to have tickets to go to the tour next month! This will be my third time seeing the lads as 'Mcbusted' and I am ecstatic. They have a lot of experience and are all very professional so they really know how to entertain the crowd which I adore. I will be seeing them in London at one of my favourite arenas...the o2 arena which will be fab. I am counting down the days till I get to see them and will defiantly do a post on it once I've been!
{Sorry this weeks post is quite short, I didn't want to include any details on the setlist or stage set up because of spoilers and didn't want to ruin it for people. Although if you want to have a look you can find pictures and videos on twitter and youtube.}

Best Dress Celebs at Paris Fashion Week 2015!
This week Fashion Week has been taking place in the love capital of the world that is the beautiful Paris. There have been an endless amount of celebrities jetting in to get a glance at the upcoming fashion to get inspiration for their 2015 Autumn/Winter wardrobes. So for this weeks post I thought I would tell you who I think the best dressed celebs were and just general goss from the shows!

The 50 Shades of Grey actress who is best known as her role as Anastasia showed up to the Christian Dior show looking as glamorous as ever. Dakota Johnson rocked up wearing a very elegant off the shoulder black jumpsuit which looked incredible on her and made her figure look amazing. Other celebs who attended the event included Kanye West, Lorde and Hailee Steinfeld. Kanye and Lorde actually turned up together which looked slightly uncomfortable to say the least. It's not the most likely pairing you would expect to visit a fashion show together...
There have also been appearances on the runway from the incredibly beautiful Kendall Jenner and the amazingly talented Cara Delevigne. Cara's trailer for her new movie in which she features 'The Face of an Angel' has just been released and you can check out her acting skills here. It's safe to say we will be hearing a lot from Cara this year and I can't wait to see her in the movie 'Paper Towns' based on John Green's book due to be released in July!
The beautiful upcoming artist Florrie has also been at Paris Fashion week and has attended the H&M show. I feel that in this outfit she looks really cool and I love how she has chosen really bold colours. These are great colours for spring and the brightness of them really reflects her personality.
As well as this the amazing reality show star Olivia Palermo in my eyes has stolen all the attention with her preppy fashion outfits. I have absolutely adored what she has been wearing. I would defiantly wear these clothes myself and that's what makes me love it more. She made each outfit such a statement and she accessorized them fantastically.
I am going to end on the subject of Kim K's new hair. That woman really does know how to get herself publicity! She's following in the same footsteps as Miley Cyrus (my queen) and has died her hair bleach blonde. It's defiantly quite something and has had some very mixed reviews. Although, it is rumoured that Kanye prefers her lighter locks which is good news for everyone.
Do you think her hair is hot or not?

Brit Awards 2015!
This past month has been award ceremony after award ceremony! Every year I look forward to the Brit Awards because they are amazing and one of my favourite nights of the year and 2015's were no different. The evening was live from the o2 Arena in London on Wednesday night and we saw a whole array of superb celebrities inside the building on our television screens. The wonderful Ant & Dec hosted the night for the first time in a staggering 14 years and they were absolutely amazing! Read on for my summary and review of the crazy ceremony...
The performances this year were amazing and quite unforgettable. Taylor Swift flawlessly opened the show singing the brilliant Blank Space. Kanye made quite the impression and Ed Sheeran gave a beautiful performance of Bloodstream. Of course, the person everyone is talking about... Madonna. The Queen of pop herself returned to the Brits stage for the first time in 20 years and made quite the return. Despite the tragic tumble she persevered and very professionally carried on with the fantastic performance. She truly is a remarkable woman! Other impeccable and absolutely wonderful acts were the stunning Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, Royal Blood, George Ezra and Take That.
All the winners were incredibly deserving and Sam Smith went away with the most adding more to his award collection! Below is the full list of winners:
